This robot was an iteration on the 2020 robot which suffered many issues, though the season was cut short due to COVID-19. However, in 2021 the game repeated and we had an opportunity to iterate on our design and correct many of our mistakes.
As the team’s sole designer, this provided the chance to design something exceeding the complexity and scope of anything our team had ever built before. Excluding prefabricated parts (motors, pistons, bolts, pulleys, etc.), everything on this robot was designed by myself.
